Screen caps of MV editing

So here was when we were editing a shot reverse shot to go in sequence with our music video.
we filmed both performers in a cafe and sat directly opposite them and had a conversation to make it look natural as if they were talking to theother performer not the camera. We were gonna have a straight cut inbetween the two clips to give it a more natural movie style effect rather then adding a transition. we used this clip because a cafe is a common place for ocuples to date and it owuld make their relationship seem more naturalistic.

The colour pink we used is a common occurance in our music video as it matches the colour of the watch in the performers outfit linking mise-en-scene with a common occurance in the video almost making it a brand identity to our singer to have this colour. The connotations of this colour also give off a very bright a pop quirky feel which is the same as our genre of music.

Here was when i was combinding text with a photo as well as having it overlay the music video footage in order to add a unaturalistic funny element to the music video so we could intentionally hear what the performer is thinking during the scene. to have it overlay ontop of the clip i had to work with more then one layer and edit the length of the speech bubble and text to match with the length of the clip before it changed as well as keeping them all in a ratio
